Chalet Blanc is situated in Châtel in the Northern French Alps. Just a stone’s throw from Switzerland, it’s a thriving ski resort during the winter months and despite its popularity the village still retains many of its traditional alpine characteristics.
It’s a beautiful village with original buildings, stunning scenery and a long tradition of cattle farming. During the summer the cows can be seen everywhere and there’s plenty of opportunity to taste the delicious Abondance cheese that they produce.
The local mountains provide a fantastic playground for exploring with walking and mountain biking some of the most popular activities. In the village you’ll find many attractions such as bars, restaurants and gift shops, bowling alley and children’s carousel.
