Transfer details
During the winter season Chalet Blanc is run on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday. If you have been on a chalet holiday before you probably arrived on a Saturday. However, we have found that arriving on a Sunday makes your transfer from Geneva airport to Châtel much quicker as there is far less traffic so your holiday gets off to a flying start rather than a frustrating fight to get through Geneva.
The other advantage to arriving on a Sunday is that you are likely to get a fantastic days skiing on your last day (the following Saturday) because whilst you are enjoying quiet pistes most other people in the village are packing their bags and heading back down the mountain in an orderly queue to Geneva airport.
There are several ways to get to Châtel, the details of which are listed below. Once you have planned your journey please ensure you fill in the appropriate details on the booking form.
Geneva Airport
Paddy and Jo firmly believe that your holiday starts as soon as you land in Geneva and therefore offer a complimentary transfer service from Geneva airport to the front door of Chalet Blanc, providing that you arrive on a Sunday. This is highly recommended as it will give you the chance to really relax from the moment you arrive. Here are the details:
- You will be met at Geneva airport in the arrival lounge by either Paddy or Jo.
- Once all the guests have arrived you will be driven directly to Chalet Blanc
- The driver will give you a brief introduction to Châtel, the weather conditions and answer any other questions you may have.
*If you or any member of your party are unable to arrive at the airport during the designated times please inform us as soon as possible. We may be able to arrange alternative transport from colleagues who run other chalets in Châtel however this can not be guaranteed and you may have to make alternative arrangements yourself.
On your return Paddy will arrange for you to be taken back to Geneva airport to arrive by 11 am. If you would like to stay later we will need to arrange alternative transport for you. You are more than welcome to leave your luggage in the chalet although you will need to check out of your rooms by 9 am.
